Organizational Training: Unconscious Bias
This training was designed as an online discussion and application-based training for employees at Any Organization. I used Canvas LMS and embedded an Articulate scenario-based learning experience for one of the modules.
There are a total of 3 modules designed to give learners the knowledge and skills to identify, evaluate, and address instances of bias in the workplace.
Organizational Training: Onboarding Contractors
This is a flowchart and plan for development of an organization's system to onboard contractors. Having a smooth and consistent onboarding process for contractors can help keep companies from running afoul of the IRS. Contractors who have a positive experience are also more likely to come back for future freelance work. Future iterations of this plan would include specifics for the type of company and department(s).
This link will take you to a brief initial needs survey that would assist in the full needs analysis. This part of the project would allow me to create a relevant, useful solution.
Professional Learning: Culturally Responsive Teaching
This training was designed as a blended learning approach to Culturally Responsive Teaching training for educators. It provides flexibility for individual sites and fidelity and consistency that honors the original text by Zaretta Hammond. The final project only includes modules for two chapters. I wrote the outline and created the storyboard first. Next, I used Articulate Storyline to develop the abbreviated eLearning modules. Learners would read a chapter in the text, complete the eLearning, then participate in synchronous discussions with colleagues.
College-Level Adult Training: Honor System Training
This training was designed as a reworking of Honor Code training for cadets at a military academy. Learners would read chapters of the honor handbook, then complete the eLearning tasks. Additionally, there would be in-person follow-up and discussions. I used Canopy as my LMS for this project.
