Hello

My Story

I grew up in Tucson, Arizona with four brothers and a slew of pets. My love of learning began with my love of reading. I learned quickly that I could learn anything I wanted by picking up a book. 

I graduated high school and ended up in Colorado for college. There I majored in History and traveled outside the country for the first time. After undergrad I attended the University of Arizona for a Master's in Secondary Education.

As a military spouse and educator, I've learned many lessons traveling the country to teach in different states and districts. I've come to appreciate the art of teaching and the science of learning. I have a deep understanding of the needs of professional, adult learners. Flexibility, relevancy, and real-world application inform my adult learning designs.
